This addition will help you unveil the reasons why your site might have dropped below the fold, such as a new group of local results that outranked you.

Traffic Cost

A new metric was added to help you understand the financial impact of organic and paid traffic and make informed decisions on allocating budgets between the two. The metric has two variations: Traffic Cost (calculated based on Estimated Visits and CPC), helpful for country-level analysis, and Local Traffic Cost (built on local values for both Estimated Visits and CPC), ideal for regional markets.

You can find these insights in the Visibility reports and include them in your FTP*, Big Query*, Google Drive**, and Looker Studio** exports.

*FTP and Big Query exports are available starting with Enterprise monthly plans and all our yearly subscriptions.
**Google Drive and Looker Studio integrations are available for all types of Yearly plans and, for monthly subscriptions, starting with Agency and higher.

'Previous Position' Column

The Previous Position metric is now available in the Ranking-Keywords view. You'll now see your site's position recorded from the last update date before your chosen date range. To see it in action, simply add the Prev. Position column from the Table Settings menu.

Product Related SERP Features

Three new SERP features are now available for tracking in Advanced Web Ranking, proving themselves useful especially when optimizing for SERP features in E-commerce:

  • Explore brands: presents a curated list of brands related to a search query.

  • Buying guides: displayed as collections of expandable questions that show up in

search results, provides in-depth comparisons of product features, prices, and other essential details to assist consumers in making well-informed purchase decisions.

  • Related products: suggests a series of products available for purchase, displayed in a

carousel format, and related to the user's search query.

To identify which of your keywords trigger these types of results, access the SERP Features filter -> SERP Features group.

Updated 'Above the Fold' Threshold

The default resolution values for the Pixel Position calculation have been updated, according to the new usage by device statistics in 2024. Therefore, the Above the fold threshold was set to 1080px on desktop (instead of 800px) and 800px on mobile (instead of 640px).
