Keeping everyone up to date with the evolution of your projects has never been so easy! Whether you want to streamline your client reporting flow or skyrocket your team’s productivity, AWR’s share link functionality is here to make it happen.

How does it work?

A project’s ranking data can be shared with clients or coworkers via a unique permalink.

The share link feature gives them read-only access to the HTML SERP files retrieved from the search engines being monitored and to the selected sections or reports of a project without having to join AWR. They can also generate PDF, CSV, and XLSX reports from the shared sections.

The share link function provides fresh ranking data on the same URL every time a project is updated, as long as the permalink created for that project is not reset.

To create a permalink, go to the Projects page or to one of the UI reports (e.g. Ranking > Keywords) and click the Share button.

When you enable the permalink from a UI report, the modal will automatically select the report you're viewing. This makes it simple to share only the most relevant data with end users.

While in the share link modal, enter a name/short description to easily identify the permalink in your project's shares list, choose the project sections and reports you want to give interactive or view-only access to, and share the newly created link.

View Only: In this mode, user interaction with shared reports is limited. Users can only modify the update dates within the reports they have been granted access to.

Interactive: This mode offers unrestricted user interaction with shared reports. Users accessing reports through the permalink can modify inputs such as keywords, website, search engine, and update dates for displaying ranking data. Additionally, they have the flexibility to adjust table preferences, such as adding/removing filters or columns, and export ranking data.

View Only: In this mode, user interaction with shared reports is limited. Users can only modify the update dates within the reports they have been granted access to.

Interactive: This mode offers unrestricted user interaction with shared reports. Users accessing reports through the permalink can modify inputs such as keywords, website, search engine, and update dates for displaying ranking data. You can also opt to send your customers periodic reminders to review the latest stats by enabling the "Notify by email" option and adding their email addresses.

With the share link functionality, you can:

  • Enable multiple permalinks for the same project

You can create up to 10 distinct permalinks for a project, each offering access to specific sections and reports.

To edit or disable a shared link, simply click on its name.

  • Share multiple projects via one permalink

You can also include multiple projects in a single permalink, making it easy to share cross-reporting insights with your clients when needed.

The option to create multiple permalinks per project and share multiple projects through a single permalink is available starting with the Pro monthly plan and all annual subscriptions. The Trial plan is limited to one permalink per project.
